Over the past 25 years, we have created a variety of custom frames in our wood shop with simple, contemporary designs that meet the requirements of both contemporary photography fabrication and current painting practices. Our designs have a proportional relationship through scale that address visual flow for your exhibition when various sizes are a concern. Our custom made mouldings feature seamless corners and a high level of structural integrity. Many options of varieties of wood, finishes and joinery are available and offer an opportunity to create an exclusive signature to your artistic representation. We also excel in oversized artworks past the 8’- 10’ foot mark.

In addition to our custom mouldings, we carry a broad spectrum of designer mouldings from a range of local suppliers. Our showroom features over four hundred frames in a variety of finishes and styles that span many applications.

Mat Cutting

No blade matches the precision of our CNC Cutter. Computer operated our CNC Cutter gracefully cuts through multiple windowed mat boards with accuracy and ease, ensuring consistency amongst multiple framed works and a perfected display.

Mounting Press

For a sleek presentation and to preserve the longevity of your artwork, we recommend mount- ing photographs and paper-based artworks onto aluminum panel. The aluminum panel can be displayed on cleats for a modern look, or placed within a frame for a display perfected to best suit the style of the artwork.

Our 60 inch press is suited for laminating and mounting flat works varying in size up to a maximum of 59.75 x 119 inches.

Wood Panels & Prepared Canvases

At Fine Art Framing & Services, we are experienced in the fabrication of custom panels and stretchers for artists. Using sophisticated construction and bracing, we can accommodate any size requests, including oversized specifications past the 8-10 foot measurement . Though normally panels are constructed of Baltic Birch skins, we are happy to utilize any material require.

Display

In our wood-shop, we design vitrines and plinths to accommodate both the design of your artwork and the specifications of the environment. Custom colours and a variety of wood veneers are available. Be it a variety of sculptures for an exhibition or a single piece to highlight a sculpture for your home, we can consult you regarding your design requirements.
